Another big Win

After a week off for the 1st Team it was back to League action as Bodicote had a bye in the county cup, Manager Gareth Wilson gave a debut to new signing Jack Randall making it 3 players in the starting line up under the age of 20.
Bodicote made a steady start but Bishops took the lead on 11 minutes when Jordan Cox timed his run to stroke the ball past Hawk Cadle in goal, This seemed to be a wake up call for Bodicote and on 20 minutes Mike Hiorns got Bodicote back level from a tight angle. Tom Cooper again put Bishops ahead on 34 minutes but immediately Luke Gibbs equalised after rounding the keeper. The second half started at a fast pace and on 57 minutes some great footwork by Luke Gibbs put Bodicote in front, there was hardly time to celebrate when Luke won a penalty, up stepped Mike Hiorns to stroke the ball into the net. Cadle in goal for Bodicote had an outstanding game as did the rest of the team, Jack Randall slotted into the team seamlessly and gave an impressive performance at left back, Lewis Simons looked a different player with a commanding performance at centre back and at 17 years old Ollie Keen dominated the middle of the park and is a joy to watch.
Kennedy and Facsko both coming on in the second half got some valuable minutes on the pitch.
Up next Bodicote host top of the table Halse in what will be a big test for Bodicote.
